Samuel
L. Jacobs, M.D.
Dr.
Jacobs received his B.A. and M.A. degrees from the University of
Pennsylvania, and his medical education from St. Georges University
and Hahnemann University Medical School. After completing his residency
in OB/GYN at Hahnemann University Hospital, he served on the faculty
at SUNY Upstate Medical School in Syracuse, NY. He then completed
a Board approved fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility
at the University of Connecticut. He joined the faculty at
Hahnemann
in July 1990, where he he has also served as director of medical
student education in OB/GYN.
Until
July, 1997, Dr. Jacobs was Clinical Assistant Professor of Obstetrics
and Gynecology at Allegheny University of the Health Sciences, MCP-Hahnemann
School of Medicine.
Currently,
Dr. Jacobs is an Associate Professor of Clinical Obstetrics and
Gynecology Division of Reproductive Endocrinology/Infertility at
the University of Medicine and Dentistry-Robert Wood Johnson Medical
at Camden.
In
addition, Dr. Jacobs has authored many chapters and several textbooks
within the area of medical education, and is on staff at Atlantic
City Medical Center, Shore Medical Center, and Burdette Tomlin Memorial
Hospital.
